Will CFSS Replace PCA?
Yes, but it’s important to understand that this shift brings enhanced support for both care recipients and their family caregivers.
The eligibility requirements for CFSS are the same as those for PCA services. If you’re currently receiving PCA support, you’ll automatically transition to CFSS at your next annual reassessment—provided there are no changes to your condition that would affect your qualification.
CFSS will also replace the state-funded Consumer Support Grant (CSG) program.
